Started out as a residential summer villa belonging to the Gargiulo family, still keeping its fascinating atmosphere with antique furnishing, ceramic tiles andthe interesting architectural style of interwoven tufa stone cornices, “ La Tonnarella” has been transformed into a delightful hotel with a backdrop of blue sea. The rooms have a wonderful view of the bay and the bay of Sorrento. Some have large terraces or balconies, some have whirlpool tubs and are decorated in antique style. The hotel has a small private beach with facilities. Hidden among the rocks like a pearl in its shell, “ La Tonnarella “ beach is a magical and little known ravine- an explosion of colours and perfumes. The violet and yellow of the wild flowers offering a contrast to the blue of the sky and the sea. It is possible to lunch at this beautiful place immersed in nature and only a few paces from the sea.
